Our goal is to provide nimble support for your HEOR needs. While there can be delays in initiating HEOR work with large firms, we pride ourselves on our ability to quickly discuss and undertake the preparation of technical reports, manuscripts, conference materials and other deliverables. See our areas of focus below.
We have prepared guideline compliant technical reports presenting meta-analyses, network meta-analyses and other forms of indirect treatment comparisons (e.g., external control arm analyses, matching adjusted indirect comparisons) for therapies related to various diseases. We are well versed in R software to support the generation of network diagrams, league tables, rank-o-grams, forest plots and other key visuals to maximize the quality of technical reports. We are also capable of supporting ITC feasibility assessments. Samples of past reports are not provided online for reasons of confidentiality, however we would be happy to present samples offline to demonstrate the quality of our work.
Having led development of the PRISMA Extension Statement for network meta-analysis, we are well experienced in the preparation of NMA publications. We are also well versed in manuscripts presenting external control arm approaches involving techniques such as matching adjusted indirect comparisons (MAICs) and propensity score methods. We have also prepared conference abstracts, posters and oral presentations for major meetings including the American Society of Hematology, the European Hematology Association, the Society for Medical Decision Making, ISPOR and the American Society of Clinical Oncology, amongst others. We work quickly to meet deadlines.
We hold years of experience in medical communications ranging from instruction of graduate university courses to leadership of conference workshops on topics such as the conduct and critical appraisal of network meta-analyses and indirect treatment comparisons. We have developed conference presentations, guideline committee presentations, webinars for clinical and lay person audiences, and technical summaries for researcher audiences. We are well suited to prepare communications to suit your needs.
We have years of experience in academia and consultancy, and we've helped design research plans for many types of knowledge syntheses. These include systematic reviews, scoping reviews, and rapid reviews. We also have expertise in using machine learning for citation screening and have published guidance on this topic. We've also published dozens of systematic review protocols. If you need help designing or publishing your next knowledge synthesis, we'd be happy to support you.
Through our experience in the academic sector, we have significant expertise in the development of research funding proposals. Past successful proposals have been developed for clinical trials, knowledge syntheses, cohort studies and reporting guideline development through major North American Agencies. These proposals have been developed in a broad range of clinical areas including medical oncology, drug safety and effectiveness, mental health and addiction, anesthesiology, infectious disease, transfusion medicine and complementary/alternative medicine, amongst others. We would welcome the opportunity to support the development of your future research funding applications.
We have expertise in the use of SAS and R Software as well as additional statistical packages for meta-analysis and data analysis. We welcome inquiries should you require support for the performance of pairwise and/or network meta-analyses, regression analyses, propensity score based analyses and other such methods.
